Judge Pat Stringer has been a life long member of the Baltimore community. He graduated from Calvert Hall College in 1970, Johns Hopkins University in 1974, and the University of Baltimore Law School in 1980. He was admitted to the Maryland State Bar Association in 1980 and to the Baltimore County Bar Association in 1982.

Judge Stringer has over 25 years of legal experience that started with his clerkship under Judge Grady of the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City (1978 to 1980). Upon successful completion of his judicial clerkship, he worked as a law clerk and associate with the Law Offices of Edward L. Blanton, Jr. from 1980 to 1982. In 1982, he joined the prestigious law firm of Mudd, Harrison, & Burch, in Towson, as an associate and was elevated to partner in 1986. In March of 2006, Judge Stringer left his very successful law practice after being appointed by Governor Ehrlich as an Associate Judge to the Baltimore County Circuit Court.

Community Service has been a priority to Pat long before he accepted his appointment to the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Pat has served as a mentor through the Mayor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families in Baltimore City. He is a former president and vice president of his homeowners association. He has served on the Board of Trustees for Calvert Hall College High School, and on the Board of Directors of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church School. For 10 years, Judge Stringer also coached recreational league lacrosse. Judge Stringer currently tutors reading to a dyslexic student, and serves on the board of the Cardinal Gibbons School and sponsors a little league baseball team.

Pat has been married for 31 years and has 5 children. He enjoys running in 5k races, and he takes great pride in being a member of the 1974 Johns Hopkins Men's Lacrosse National Championship Team.
